Laurent Zahles Joins Raiffeisen Bank Management Committee

Raiffeisen Bank has announced that Laurent Zahles, Director of Commercial Banking, has joined the Management Committee of the Luxembourg bank.

Within this executive body, Laurent Zahles joins Chairman Guy Hoffmann and fellow members Jean-Louis Barbier, Yves Biewer and Eric Peyer.

Mr Zahles holds a Masters in Economics and Business Management from the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg and has spent his entire career in the banking sector. After starting his professional life at Banque Générale du Luxembourg, he joined Banque Raiffeisen in 2007. He held several positions of responsibility in different departments before taking over in 2016, as Commercial Banking Director, the responsibility of the branch network and the Private Banking and Corporate departments.

Commenting on this appointment, Chairman Guy Hoffmann said that "the experience and the know-how of Mr. Zahles are precious for our bank. They will allow us to further develop our position on the Luxembourg banking market, but also to meet the many challenges that await us in the coming years".
