Intertrust, an international tech-enabled fund and corporate solutions provider, has announced a number of senior appointments within its Luxembourg team.

David O'Neill has joined the Luxembourg management team as Managing Director, Deputy Country Head Luxembourg to run the day-to-day operations, working alongside Douwe Terpstra, who has been Managing Director Luxembourg since July 2019. David O'Neill most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Alter Domus Group and has extensive experience in the financial services and funds industry, having worked for JPMorgan Chase, Invesco and RBS.

In addition, Intertrust has made two promotions into the local management team. In this context, Paul Rogers, who has been working at Intertrust since January 2017, has been promoted to Finance Director for Luxembourg. Paul Rogers has a strong background as an accountant, business controller and financial controller and has played an important role in the financial management of our Luxembourg office over the past years.

Similarly, Véronique Bastin has been appointed Head of Risk and Compliance. Before Intertrust, Véronique Bastin was Chief Compliance Officer at CACEIS. With this strong background, Intertrust has stated that she has proven to be key in managing its client portfolio.

Commenting on these appointments, Lee Godfrey, Managing Director Western Europe, said: "David is a great and well-respected leader and will be instrumental in bringing further growth to our Luxembourg business, alongside our other management members. In addition, appointing Paul as our local Finance Director is a great example of how a combination of hard work, excellent skills and professional talent will help to further a professional career at Intertrust and, finally, with risk and compliance becoming increasingly more important in the face of constantly evolving regulations, having Véronique in the management team is a huge asset".
