After a two-and-a-half-year term, Frank Feitler is leaving the board of directors of the Abbaye de Neumünster Cultural Centre for personal reasons. Appointed by Grand-Ducal Decree on 12 July 2019, following a decision by the Council of Government, Françoise Poos will take over the position of President and will continues the mandate of her predecessor which will end on 31 December 2021.
 
Luxembourg's Minister of Culture, the Board of Directors and the entire Neimënster team have thanked Frank Feitler for his commitment to the public institution and have welcomed the new President, Françoise Poos.

In fifteen years, the meeting of identities and intercultural dialogue have found their anchor in the Abbaye de Neumunster (neimënster). With the new Chair of the Board of Directors (President), the Neumünster Abbey Cultural Center will continue along this path, celebrating cultural diversity and promoting national and international exchange.

Françoise Poos supports the values ​​and missions of neimënster as a bearer of cultural and artistic projects around the theme of Luxembourg's cultural identity and its encounter with other cultures. "Neimënster is dedicated to the diversity of expression of Luxembourg's identities and offers a platform for international meetings that promotes dialogue and mutual understanding. This generous mandate is particularly important to me. I am delighted to be able to contribute to its achievement," said the new Chair of the Board.
 
She also emphasised the importance of the meeting of cultural actors with different audiences, including mediation and promotion. neimënster actively supports engaged and political art, while promoting emerging artists. Artist residencies are an integral part of this context of artistic creation, as Françoise Poos noted "The development of artist residencies is one of the highlights of the new Kulturentwécklungsplang. neimënster has the experience and the infrastructure necessary to offer a quality welcome. This practice only needs to be extended and strengthened". Under the direction of Ainhoa ​​Achutegui, the neimënster team is working on the implementation of these new orientations. "It's a collaborative project," said Françoise Poos. "I will take care of it together with my colleagues on the board of directors, while listening to the director and her team."
