
The Luxembourg Automotive Suppliers Association (ILEA) has named Julian Proffitt its new president following its recent Board of Directors meeting.
As of 29 April 2019, on the occasion of the ILEA general assembly, Julian Proffitt has succeeded Camille Feyder (Delphi Technologies) as president of the association.
52-year-old Julian Proffitt, who is of Luxembourgish and British nationality, is the Managing Director of Raval Europe S.A. (in Bascharage) and Global Strategic Sourcing Manager of Groupe Raval. Raval Europe specialises in the development and manufacture of ventilation systems for automobile tanks. He possesses a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Newcastle.
Since 2015, Julian Proffitt has been a member of the ILEA Board of Directors as well as of the steering committee of the Automobility Cluster of Luxinnovation.
The ILEA Board of Directors is composed of Julian Proffitt (Raval Europe), François Delé (Automobility Cluster president), Lynn Elvinger (CEBI Luxembourg), Camille Feyder (Delphi Technologies), Thierry Goniva (IEE), Henk Van Tuyl (Goodyear) and Georges Santer (FEDIL). Following the appointment of Julian Proffitt to president, the Board of Directors has decided to name Camille Feyder "honorary president". He will remain on the Board.
