Luxembourg trade unions ALEBA, OGBL and LCGB-SESF have organised a picket protest in front of NORDEA bank, taking place on Friday 8 June 2018 at 12:30.
The protest comes following the failure of negotiations for a social plan at the NORDEA bank, which began in early May. Indeed, the staff representatives and the three unions had to confront the National Conciliation Office and a third and final meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday 12 June.
Given the seriousness of the situation, employees and staff representatives of the bank and the three unions have decided to hold a picket protest tomorrow in front of NORDEA (562, rue de Neudorf, L-2220 Luxembourg (Kalchesbrück)).
The trade unions have thus launched an appeal to all the employees of the financial sector to express their solidarity with the dismissed employees at this protest.
