For the second consecutive year, the Employment Development Agency (ADEM) organised an "Employers' Day" for its employees, a day dedicated to company visits, which took place yesterday on 27 November 2017.
Organised by the European Network of Public Employment Services, the European Employers' Day aims to foster partnerships and relations between public employment services and employers.
Following the success of the first edition in April 2016, ADEM employees once again had the opportunity to meet employers from all economic sectors. 270 employees working for the different services of ADEM registered for the 2017 edition, a hundred more than last year. They had the choice of visiting 27 different companies or associations. Beyond discovering behind the scenes of the companies, the employees were able to exchange with the heads of companies and the managers of the human resources.
One of such visits took place in the industrial company Accumalux in Kockelscheuer. After a presentation of the activities of the group with 113 employees on its Luxembourg site, Eric Thiel, sales manager, and Christian Mangieu, production manager, guided the nine employees of ADEM in the production workshops.
