On Friday 25 April 2025, the LCGB and OGBL trade unions, together with the Fédération des Entreprises de Nettoyage (Luxembourg Federation of Cleaning Companies), signed a new sectoral collective agreement covering approximately 14,000 employees in Luxembourg’s cleaning sector.
According to the LCGB and the OGBL, the agreement has been concluded for a duration of three years. It maintains existing social benefits and includes measures to improve purchasing power, notably through linear salary increases totalling 2.7% over the entire period.
Among other notable developments is the introduction of an additional day of leave linked to seniority, recognising long-term employee commitment. The agreement also provides several clarifications regarding work schedules.
