On Thursday 19 December 2024 the LCGB trade union signed the renewal of the collective labour agreement for the employees of Simaform SA based near Clervaux in the north of the Grand Duchy; the company also has a presence in Ohia, USA.
The collective agreement, concluded for a period of three years, is valid from 1 January 2025 until 31 December 2027.
The negotiations took place within a framework of constructive social dialogue and resulted in the following results, among other things:
- increase in the number of meal vouchers granted by the company;
- revaluation of the daily bonus for managers;
- increase in vacation days based on seniority.
Simaform SA is expert in the manufacture of complex, high-precision parts in thin sheet metal for all industrial sectors as well as in 3D printing using metal powder.
According to the LCGB, with the signing of this collective labour agreement, the trade union was able to improve working conditions for the 45 employees of Simaform SA in Luxembourg, throughout what they described a this unpredictable economic situation.
