The Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) has announced a series of events and important conferences in the sector, both at home and abroad, as part of its 10th anniversary.

Recent Events

Most recently, on 26 January 2020, LPEA held an exclusive dinner during IPEM 2020 with VIP Guest Speaker Nicolas Mackel, CEO of Luxembourg For Finance, who provided a thought-provoking and insightful overview of the state of the EU in the aftermath of Brexit. The event brought together 30 GPs and LPs, together with some of LPEA's sponsors.

Just before that, on 20 January 2020, LPEA organised its first conference in Madrid, in cooperation with ASCRI (Spanish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association). The theme of the event was "PE going mainstream and cross-border in 2020: The view from Luxembourg". Among the speakers was Luc Frieden, former Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and of the board of directors of BIL and Partner at law firm Elvinger Hoss Prussen, who gave a speech on EU developments.
