Docler Holding, based in Luxembourg, and the Haxe Foundation, announced on Wednesday that they have become strategic partners.

Haxe is an open source toolkit based on a modern high level strictly typed programming language. It is a state-of-the-art light-speed cross-compiler that offers a complete cross-platform standard library and ways to access each platform's native capabilities. The Haxe Foundation was created to fund long-term Haxe development and provides support to companies using Haxe.

Docler Holding, actively using Haxe for its developments, has decided to strengthen the community by becoming Strategic Partner of the Foundation. “We are proud to associate ourselves with the Haxe Foundation and we strongly support this type of technological endeavour. Today, through our numerous offices in Europe, we have already a lot of developers working with it and we keep on growing. It is essential for us to partner with such great initiatives as it is at the core of our product and technological developments”, explained Marton Fulop, COO of Docler Holding.

Haxe allows the compilation of the same code base to JavaScript, C++, Java, C#, Python, PHP as well as other less known targets. It has a large range of cutting edge features, supported by a strong community of developers. “Haxe unique technology allows companies to leverage one single code base across many different targets. We are proud to have Docler Holding recognizing the strategic value of Haxe and joining our partners programme”, stated Nicolas Cannasse, Director of the Haxe Foundation.

The 2017 Haxe Summit is the first official conference for the Haxe programming language, currently taking place in Amsterdam on 13-16 September. It follows in the footsteps of the WWX, a community event that was held annually in Paris for the past five years.
