On Thursday 5 October 2023, Docler Media Group announced the liquidation of Luxembourg-based events agency Farvest, whose operations will soon cease.

Docler Media Group has owned Farvest, organiser of the tech conference ICT Spring, since 2018. The parent company has attributed the decision to cease operations to the challenging context of recent years, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had "a considerable impact on Farvest's profitability". As such, Docler Media Group has taken the "difficult decision to wind down its operations, despite exploring multiple avenues to grow and sustain the business."

Farvest has served clients in various sectors and organised major events, from award ceremonies to Luxembourg's biggest tech conference, ICT Spring. In light of this news, co-CEOs Charlotte Boutelier and Margaux Vetzel, appointed in February 2021 and dismissed in September 2023 (according to information taken from Luxembourg Business Registers), have expressed their gratitude to their clients and employees for their support and trust over the years: "We are deeply grateful to all those who entrusted us with the events we orchestrated over the past two years. We also wish to express our sincere gratitude to our team members for their unwavering support and exceptional dedication."

According to Docler Media Group, a "leading player" in Luxembourg's events industry is currently considering an acquisition proposal for ICT Spring "with the aim of continuing its presence and influence in Luxembourg and the Greater Region."

Farvest's parent company added that it will "work closely" with the relevant legal and financial departments throughout the liquidation process to resolve any outstanding obligations and liabilities. In the meantime, all events planned by Farvest for the rest of 2023 and 2024 have been cancelled.
