The digital edition of the Luxembourg Internet Days, which was held online from 17 to 19 November 2020, brought together more than 1,000 professionals.

Luxembourg Internet Days 2020 has been deemed a success. The event featured nearly 20 hours of broadcasting of a varied programme, spread over three days, and now viewable in "Replay". Highlights included ten high level presentations and three hours of interactive workshops, with a focus on six themes related to network and "Cloud" security.

As well as the 1,000+ professionals who registered to meet, listen, network and visit the exhibition on the event platform, Luxembourg Internet Days 2020 counted on the participation of three Luxembourg ministers (Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Media, Marc Hansen, Minister Delegate for Digitalisation, and Franz Fayot, Minister of the Economy) and two representatives of the highest European authorities who have made the fight against cyber attacks and the protection of European cyberspace their priority.

In addition, around 30 experts participated in redesigned round tables to immerse participants in the heart of a crisis scenario.

The organisers, LU-CIX ASBL, also noted that more than 30% of the speakers at this year's event were female - a distribution which is tending to increase and is a sign that customs are changing and that diversity is also making room at the highest level.
