SECURITYMADEIN.LU has announced that the fourth edition of Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg (CSWL) will be held from 19 to 29 October 2020.

Due to the current exceptional circumstances, two versions (physical or virtual) are planned, but the campaign is assured. The CSWL again forms part of the European Cybersecurity Month organised by the European Commission and ENISA, the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security.

The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg, the campaign to raise awareness and promote the Luxembourg cybersecurity ecosystem, has become over the years a key moment on the ICT sector's agenda. This is thanks to the involvement of a wide variety of public and private partners who mobilised more than 3,000 participants during the previous edition.

According to SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the measures taken to respond to the COVID-19 have only reiterated the importance of digital technology in everyday life as well as that of high standards in terms of security. This edition will celebrate the 20th year of initiatives to develop the national cybersecurity ecosystem, which now has a common branding (pictured).

The campaign's flagship event, the Gala & Awards Night, will be held on 29 October 2020. The event brings together exceptional speakers, the decision makers of the ecosystem and announces the laureates of the year. Among them, the coveted titles of CISO and DPO of the Year, which will be given by last year’s winners and chairing the 2020 edition juries, respectively, Jelena Zelenovic Mattone (BEI), and Stéphane Omnes (POST Group). In addition, the Cyber Resilience Award was created this year to highlight the exceptional results of a key player during these harsh times.
