Amanda Yao, 3rd position in Junior DEF Division B;

The Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage de Vitesse (ULPV) has announced that its skaters recently took part in two competitions, the first and second Regional League Benelux Cup in the Netherlands and in Belgium, respectively.
The first Regional League Benelux Cup took place on Sunday 26 November in Tilburg, Netherlands and the second Regional League Benelux Cup on Saturday 2 December 2023 in Hasselt, Belgium. Several skaters achieved new personal bests.
In Tilburg, Amanda Yao secured an overall 6th position in Junior DEF Division B. She achieved a personal best (PB) in the 500m with a time of 1:01.74. Sidoine Conesa claimed an overall 4th position in Junior ABC.
In Hasselt, Amanda Yao secured an overall 3rd position in Junior DEF Division B. Ziqi Gao achieved an overall 13th position in Junior DEF Division B and set a personal best (PB) in the 500m with a time of 1:07.06. Maya Bauwens claimed an overall 16th position in Junior ABCSM Division B. She achieved personal bests in both the 500m with a time of 1:05.87 and the 1000m with a time of 2:23.13. Sidoine Conesa earned an overall 14th position in Junior ABCSM Division A.
The Kleeschen Cup took place on Sunday 3 December 2023. The winners of each group were as follows:
- Aaron Bumsteinas won in the Beginners Group 1;
- Sammy Xia took the top spot in the Beginners Group 2;
- Maya Bauwens claimed victory in the Women’s Intermediate/Advanced Group;
- Sidoine Conesa won in the Men’s Intermediate/advanced Group.
The next competition is the Regional League Benelux Cup 3 in Luxembourg on 17 December 2023.
