Over 150 Human Resources (HR) professionals gathered at Kinepolis Kirchberg on Tuesday for the latest edition of HR Day, organised by Farvest.

This year's event centred around the theme "HR, catalysts of the company platform", as debated by the experts present. During this half day of conferences and exchanges, several international and local speakers discussed the main trends in the sector, namely the role of HR in increasingly digital environments.

Among the speakers were Benoît Thierry, Co-founder of the Leadership School of Paris, who discussed talent management, Hong Kong- and New York-based David Goldsmith, President and Co-founder of the Goldsmith Organization, who addressed the role of artificial intelligence in the HR world, and Carmen Maftei, Head of Human Resources at Vodafone, who recently moved to Luxembourg from Romania and discussed the rapid transformation of HR in recent years.

Many innovative startups were also in attendance as the experts discussed the latest tools to develop performance, mobile applications, the advent of collective intelligence, new organisational models and the importance of corporate culture, gamification and means used to boost commitment and performance management.
