State Street Corporation today marked its 25th anniversary in Luxembourg.
State Street opened its first Luxembourg office 1990 with 25 employees. Today, with more than 1,000 employees and 36 nationalities in the offices at Kirchberg, State Street Luxembourg is an international hub for servicing cross-border funds that services more than 20 countries.
Jay Hooley, chairman and CEO of State Street, who presided over a 25th anniversary celebration in Luxembourg today said, “We are very proud of our longstanding presence here. Luxembourg has been and continues to be key to our growth across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and a strategic centre for our offshore activities.”
Martin F. Dobbins, Managing Director of State Street in Luxembourg said, “As the leading fund administrator in Luxembourg, we are actively engaged in helping to shape the financial industry, crafting innovative solutions for our clients and in giving back to the local communities.”
