This week Luxembourg's men's football teams were back in action, in UEFA club competitions.

On Wednesday 17 July 2024, in the UEFA Champions League, first qualifying round, Luxembourg's FC Differdange 03 played their 2nd leg match against KÍ Klaksvík (Faroe Islands) at the Stade Municipal de la Ville de Differdange.

In the first leg, played last Wednesday away, FC Differdange 03 had lost 2-0, so they were up against it in the second leg. The match ended goalless, which meant that FC Differdange 03 have been knocked out of the competition and will enter the UEFA League draw.

While both teams picked up two yellow cards apiece, FC Differdange 03's Juan Bedouret received a red card in the 34th minute which made the home side's task tougher. Differdange did create more chances, with twelve shots on goal to the visitor's three.

This evening, in the UEFA Conference Leangue, first qualifying round, F91 Diddeleng (Dudelange) will play Atlètic Club Escaldes (Andorra) at home in the 2nd leg at the Stade Jos Nosbaum in Dudelange, having won the first leg away last week thanks to a first-half goal by Bojić.

Also this evening, in the UEFA Conference League, first qualifying round, FC UNA Strassen will play their 2nd leg away to KuPS Kuopio (Finland), having drawn the first leg 0-0 at home last week.
