On Friday evening, Luxembourg's national football lost 4-0 away to Spain in their EUFA Euro 2016 group C qualification game in Logorno.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla and Valencia striker Paco Alcacer Garcia both scored twice to win Group C. While the half-time score was just 1-0 after Cazorla scored in the 42nd minute to open the scoring, the score remained the same until three quarters through the match, with Alcacer Garcia scoting in the 67th minute and again 13 minutes later, before Cazorla scored the fourth goal of the game with 5 minutes left on the clock.

The first half was quite a concern for the home team, with both Silva, with a sprained ankle, and Morata, with a calf injury, coming off injured.

Luxembourg remain 5th of 6 teams in Group C with 4 points, with Macedonia on 3 points, with one round of matches remaining.
