The Luxembourg undertakings for collective investment (UCI) industry recorded a positive change amounting to €67.506 billion in the month of September 2019.

As of 30 September 2019, the aggregate net assets of global UCIs amounted to €4.569.999 billion as opposed to €4.502.493 billion on 31 August 2019, representing an increase of 1.5% over one month. Over the last twelve months, the volume of net assets increased by 6.78%.

For its part, the Luxembourg UCI industry industry similarly posted a positive change in the month of September, amounting to €67.506 billion. This increase represents the balance of positive net issues up to €7.522 billion (+0.17%) and the favourable financial market developments of €59.984 billion (+1.33%). 

The number of UCIs taken into consideration was 3,807 (compared to 3,824 in August). 2,494 entities have adopted an umbrella structure representing 13,510 compartments. Adding 1,313 entities with a traditional structure, a total of 14,823 units are active in the financial centre.
