The CMCM (Caisse Médico-Compémentaire Mutualiste) has announced changes to its loans system for 2017.
On Saturday 26 November 2016, the CMCM organised its “41st CMCM Day” at which the Minister Romain Schneider was present. At the event, the CMCM’s President Albert Glod and Managing Director Fabio Secci reviewed the year 2016 and presented the latest benefits for affiliates in 2017.
The CMCM is changing in parallel with changing needs and more complex demands. As such, the association recognises the need to adapt itself to respond to and satisfy the demands of a more diverse range of clients.
In order to do so, the CMCM is first of all hoping to appeal more to young adults. As such, the association will introduce a reduced and adapted tariff, which is 10% less than the normal one, for unmarried young adults under the age of 30. They should also not be in a civil partnership.
Next, the CMCM wants to invest, for the first time in its history, in preventative medicine from 2017 onwards. As such, it is offering its affiliates the possibility of claiming a partial reimbursement of the fees for particular preventative examinations.
The CMCM also hope to win back more of its former members who left between 2014 and 2016. To thank them for coming back, the association will allow these former members to become members again until 28 February 2017 without having to undergo the normal waiting period which can be between nine and 36 months.
The CMCM considers these new activities as well as the constant desire to provide the best possible service to its members as very important. In fact, additional reimbursements for 2017 will increase to two to three million euros.
