Luxembourgish film production company Melusine Productions has announced that its coproduction "The Prince's Voyage" ("Le Voyage du Prince") will be released in cinemas in the Grand Duchy on Wednesday 25 November 2020.

Directed by Jean-François Laguionie and Xavier Picard, The Prince's Voyage was co-produced by Melusine Productions and French production company Blue Spirit. The 2019 animated film lasts 75 minutes and is in the French language. Le Parc Distribution is in charge of distribution. 

Synopsis

An old prince is stranded on an unknown shore. Wounded and lost, he is found by young Tom and taken in by his parents, two researchers forced into exile. Guided by Tom, the prince discovers with enthusiasm and fascination a society that is frozen and sclerotic.

Following its cinema release in France and Belgium in December 2019, The Prince's Voyage is coming to Luxembourg cinemas next month. The film is deemed suitable for children aged 8 and up.
