Film Fund Luxembourg has announced the selection of various Luxembourgish co-productions at a number of upcoming international film festivals.
Three Luxembourg co-productions have been selected for the Cairo International Film Festival, taking place from 20-29 November 2019:
- Between Heaven and Earth by Najwa Najjar (Paul Thiltges Distributions)
- Fire Will Come ("O Que Arde") by Oliver Laxe (Tarantula Luxembourg)
- Skin Walker by Christian Neuman (Calach Films; international sales Media Luna)
One Luxembourg co-production has been selected for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, taking place from 15 November to 1 December 2019:
- California Dreaming by Fabrizio Maltese (Samsa Film)
One Luxembourg co-production has been selected for the American Film Institute (AFI) European Union Film Showcase, taking place in Maryland, US from 4–22 December 2019:
- Péitruss by Max Jacoby (Samsa Film)
One Luxembourg co-production has been selected for the Joburg Film Festival South Africa, taking place from 19-24 November 2019:
- Zero Impunity by Nicolas Blies, Stéphan Hueber-Blies and Denis Lambert (a_BAHN, co-produced by Melusine Productions)
One Luxembourg co-production has been selected for the Festival International du Film d'Amiens, taking place from 15-23 November 2019:
