Film Fund Luxembourg and PHI have announced that the 8th edition of the Immersive Pavilion 2025 will be held from 6 to 23 March 2025 at neimënster in Luxembourg-Grund, as part of Luxembourg City Film Festival.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the film festival and the 35th anniversary of Film Fund Luxembourg, the pavilion, previously known as “VR Pavillon”, has been renamed to better reflect the evolution of immersive arts and the diversity of technologies that have marked the industry in recent years.

The industry event, now called Immersive Days, will take place from 4 to 5 March at neimënster and Cercle Cité Luxembourg. Building on the success of previous editions, the 2025 event will feature conferences, panels and networking events around key topics in virtual reality and immersive filmmaking.

According to the press release "We hope to once again bring together experts and professionals to discuss subjects such as existing funding mechanisms, artists’ production experiences, and the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on this budding field".

Registration for the Immersive Days 2025 will open in January. Programme details and the list of guest speakers will be published progressively.

For this 8th edition, one section of the Immersive Pavilion extends beyond the walls of neimënster, setting up at the Ratskeller of the Cercle Cité, in the heart of Luxembourg City. There, one will discover the exhibition Between reflections and Immersion open from 7 February to 6 April, showcasing two acclaimed immersive experiences supported by Film Fund Luxembourg: “This is my Heart” and “Oto’s Planet”.
