Luxembourgish nature conservation NGO natur&ëmwelt has announced it will host “Fest vun der Natur” on Sunday 14 June 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Maison de la Nature in Kockelscheuer.

The 2026 edition of natur&ëmwelt’s major annual meeting is dedicated to nature, biodiversity and sustainable initiatives and is expected to attract between 1,500 and 2,000 visitors over the course of the day.

The organisers have announced all proceeds generated during the event will be donated in full to natur&ëmwelt asbl projects, enabling every visitor to contribute to the preservation of biodiversity in Luxembourg.

Throughout the day, people of all ages will be able to enjoy a varied programme including participatory workshops, blacksmithing and beekeeping demonstrations, a children's playground and over 40 themed information and sales stands offering a wide range of natural products, organic foods, local goods and crafts.

natur&ëmwelt asbl will also be present with several information stands highlighting its projects, including the 'naturreseau', which aims to connect private and community gardens, as well as green spaces where nature can thrive, to create a genuine ecological network across the country, and the 'Urban Birds' project, which focuses on improving urban habitats for wildlife and promoting biodiversity in cities.

Among the many activities and exhibitors at this year's event, visitors will be able to discover highlights including:

• a floral arrangements creation & willow branches basketry workshop by Kapenaker Blooms and Made by Marens;

• a textile upcycling workshop led by fashion designer SAIKNA, giving old textiles a new lease on life;

• seed bomb-making workshops organized by the Green Conscious association;

• fun, hands-on activities focused on renewable energy, offered by the Klima-Agence;

• an interactive workshop on water conservation, led by the l’Administration de la gestion de l’eau;

• purchase organic vegetable seedlings and produce from Kass-Haff;

• Schlossgut Pillingen, which will showcase a selection of organic products from its own farm (grains, flours, honey, bread and pastries).

Thanks to the support of natur&ëmwelt’s partners, exhibitors and sponsors, a tombola will be organised for the third consecutive year. Prizes include a bicycle donated by Cycles Arnold Kontz, a recycled glass vase valued at €300 donated by Limelight and numerous gift vouchers and shopping vouchers.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a 100% organic menu featuring grilled dishes and vegetarian and vegan salads prepared by natur&ëmwelt’s volunteer 'Kachéquipe', as well as crêpes, waffles and ice cream.

Admission to the event is free.
