On Tuesday 20 August 2024, the local non-profit organisation Wecitizens announced the launch of “Creative Collab for Good,” an innovative project that merges artistic creativity with social action.
The association is inviting artists to create illustrations on environmental and social themes, allowing them to express their commitment to the issues they care about. An exhibition showcasing the artists and their works will be held at the Impact Shaker from 22 November 2024, and will run for six months. The illustrations will be transformed into socially responsible products (T-shirts, tote bags, etc.) and sold in the Superstore (their "Shaker à impact"), with a portion of the proceeds directly invested in a fund to support local initiatives.
Selected artists will receive €250 and a personalised T-shirt featuring their design. Additionally, 10% of the sales profits will be allocated to social and environmental projects. Artists will also have the opportunity to participate in the jury that selects the projects to be funded.
