On Tuesday 27 December 2022, Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, together with the Ministry of Energy and Regional Planning, have launched a second call for projects from companies wishing to invest in the installation of charging stations for electrical vehicles.

Open from 1 January to 31 May 2023, the call has a maximum budget of €5 million and aims to finance projects for charging stations for electric vehicles, accessible to both public and private electric vehicles, where the load capacity is at least 175 kilowatts.

Regardless of its size, any company with a charging infrastructure deployment project can submit its project. If this is accepted, the company will be able to benefit from grant aid in the form of a subsidy that can cover up to 50% of the investments related to the deployment of charging stations.

This call for projects follows the first call for projects which was open from 30 July to 30 September 2022.

The specifications can be downloaded from Guichet.lu and projects can be submitted via MyGuichet from 1 January 2023.

Interested companies are encouraged to seek the support of Luxinnovation and the Klima-Agence, which offer free support for setting up such projects.
