European project Night Light is organising a conference on the fight against light pollution in Clervaux Castle on Thursday 28 February 2019 at 18:00. 

The conference will feature the following speakers: Luxembourg Minister of Energy, Minister of Spatial Planning Claude Turmes, Dr. Lukas Schuler, an expert in light pollution and honorary president of Dark-Sky Switzerland, and Nynke-Rixt Jukema, initiator of the Night Light project. The speakers will present a summary of the actions taken and a perspective on the envisaged measures in the fight against light pollution.

The aim of the Night Light project is to develop and improve regional strategies for the containment of light pollution as well as the protection and sustainable enhancement of the natural darkness of the night sky.

The Our Nature Park is participating in this project with the following partners: Province of Fryslän (Netherlands); Hajdú-Bihar County Government (Hungary); Island Government of La Palma; Avila County Council (Spain); Basilicata Region; Matera-Basilicata 2019 Foundation (Italy); Samso Energy Academy (Denmark); Business Support Centre Kranj (Slovenia).
