The Maison du Grand-Duc has reported that Grand Duke Guillaume received in audience five new ambassadors for the presentation of their credentials at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg-Ville on Thursday 23 April 2026.

The following ambassadors presented their letters of credence, as well as the letters of recall of their predecessors:

  • Ms Johanna Brismar Skoog, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden;
  • Mr José Cardoso dos Ramos Cassandra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe;
  • Mr Talal Almas S. A. Al-Sulaiti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar;
  • Mr Joseph Varo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea;
  • Mr Andy Rachmianto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia.
