On Wednesday 21 September 2022, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke received successively in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace four new ambassadors to Luxembourg for the presentation of their credentials.
The new ambassadors are as follows:
- His Excellency Markus Börlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation;
- His Excellency Ning Hua, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China;
- His Excellency Mohamed Ismail Hussain Alsahlawi Al-Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates;
- Her Excellency Noami Aretha Ngwira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Malawi;
- Her Excellency Anet Pino Rivero, Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba.
