On Wednesday 21 April 2021, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke received in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace five new ambassadors to Luxembourg for the presentation of their credentials.

The new ambassadors were as follows:

- Her Excellency Ms Fleur Louise THOMAS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; 

- His Excellency Mr Ivan LEKOVIĆ, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro; 

- Her Excellency Ms Frances-Galatia LANITOU WILLIAMS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus;

- His Excellency Mr Jean Omer BERIZIKY, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Madagascar;

- Her Excellency Hirut Zemene KASSA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
