The Theater Federatioun has announced upcoming performances of High FeverSWEAT. A Musclical and Lovefool.

After a series of sold-out shows last season, High Fever, by aspiring young director Max Blom, is returning to the Théâtre National du Luxembourg (TNL) on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November 2025 at 19:30 and on Sunday 16 November 2025 at 17:00.

Synopsis: Don't freak out: if you think they are out to get you, you are not alone. Paranoia, once assumed to afflict only schizophrenics, may be a lot more common than previously thought. According to valid research, nearly one in four Londoners, for instance, regularly have paranoid thoughts. Still, some experts said that a tiny little bit of paranoia, in a world full of threat, may be kind of beneficial. Be on guard. See who is following you and what is happening. Not everybody is trying to get you, but some people may be. That is as comforting as it gets.

This "electrifying" show (in English) builds a story out of fragments, connecting a variety of short texts by Lydia Lunch, Eric Bogosian, Hunter S. Thompson, Patti Smith, Jerry Stahl, Ken Nordine, Dylan Thomas, Oscar Acosta, Leo Sayer and John Giorno, dealing with paranoia, shame and madness.

Tickets cost €20 for adults, €8 for youth or €1.50 with the Kulturpass and are available via LuxembourgTicket. For further details, see https://www.tnl.lu/ or https://www.theater.lu/eventsluxembourg/206/high-fever-kKWueM/high-fever/

Performances of SWEAT. A Musclical: Songs of Push and Pull are taking place at the Grand Théâtre in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg on Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 November 2025 at 19:30.

Synopsis: The Rimini Protokoll collective playfully rethinks what it means to make music: Who composes? Who plays? And on what? Part of rainy days, this performance transforms fitness equipment into musical instruments and invites visitors to interact with them and improvise. Songs of Push and Pull have been specially composed for this unconventional ensemble, performed by people who have unknowingly been preparing for it: those who use these machines in their everyday workouts. In Luxembourg, individuals who may never have played a concert before use their deep physical awareness, shaped through years of training, to generate a unique sonic experience on stage. Songs of Push and Pull blurs the line between physical self-optimisation and musical performance, creating a soundscape that blends the rhythms of exercise with elements of pop and contemporary composition.

The show is held in German and English, with an introduction delivered in English 30 minutes before each performance. Tickets cost €20 for adults and €8 for youth; Kulturpass accepted. For more information (including reservations), visit https://theatres.lu/fr/rainydays2025

Gintare Parulyte's one-woman play Lovefool is being presented (in English) at CAPE - Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 November 2025 at 20:00.

Synopsis: Lovefool is a one-woman play about Grace, a young woman hungry for affection and looking for love in the wrong places, who is forced to discover what healthy (self) love might look like. Gintare Parulyte explores with vulnerability and humour the effects of toxic masculinity and inequality, as well as those of life governed by gender expectations that are too confusing to fathom, let alone to enjoy. Lovefool is heartbreaking and hilarious at the same time.

"Gintare’s visionary approach truly brings something unique and powerful to the stage. We are especially excited for the school workshops, where students will have a chance to connect with the transformative themes of the play before the performance," said Ana Maria Tzekov, artistic director at CAPE.

The two-hour "Own Your Story" workshop accompanies the Lovefool show and invites students aged fourteen to nineteen to explore the power of their own voice and experience. Accompanied by the play's author, they will discover creative tools for expressing what moves them most - from pain to joy - and for transforming their unique perspectives into powerful stories, according to the venue.

Tickets cost €21 for adults, €10.50 for youth or €1.50 with the Kulturpass. For tickets and further information, visit https://cape.lu/lovefool/14119
