Bofferding Brewery yesterday officially opened 'An Der Brauerei', its new refreshment bar representing a total investment of €1,750,000.

Whilst the former bar at 148, Avenue de Luxembourg, was inaugurated in the early 1970s, the new establishment will be able to continuously welcome visitors. It is now comprised of three floors, one of which hosts a meeting room and a space which can be used for gatherings of clubs and associations.

An Der Brauerei will be offering the true Bofferding experience every day except Saturday lunchtime, allowing visitors the opportunity to sample various beers from the Bofferding and Battin range, including an exlusive unfiltered beer available on tap.

The chef and kitchen team will also be providing mainly Luxembourgish and French delicacies, such as sauerkraut, pork chop, bouchée à la reine, as well as beer sorbet desserts. The property, which also offers guided tours, is managed by Clothilde Ludorf, who also operates the Brasserie at Abbaye de Neumünster.

The Bofferding Brewery attracts around 10,000 visitors a year to its facilities, and has invested €1.75 million in An Der Brauerei, its new branch in Bascharage.
