On Tuesday 4 July, HRH Grand Duke Henri and HRH Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were at Mondorf-les-Bains for the start of Stage 4 of this year's Tour de France.
Yesterday, Monday, Stage 3 saw the 3-week tour pass through the Grand Duchy from north to south; today, Stage 4 started in Mondorf and exited the Grand Duchy via Schengen before finishing up in the town of Vittel in the Vosges.
Along with the royal couple were Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, Secretaries of State Guy Arendt and Francine Closener and Minister of Sports, Romain Schneider. Before the start they talked with Luxembourg's lone representative in this year's race, Ben Gastauer, and were at the start line for the departure of the cyclists.
