The Fonds Culturel National (FOCUNA) has announced that its steering committee decided on the scholarship programmes to be offered in 2024.
These production, research and/or promotion scholarships are partly financed by private patrons and awarded based on calls for applications. The application files are then analysed by juries of independent experts.
Deadlines for submitting application files are as follows:
- grant to help publish a youth literary work, deadline: 10 March 2024 and 13 October 2024;
- Bert-Theis Scholarship - Production grant for artists in the field of visual arts, deadline: 24 March 2024;
- Schleich-Lentz Foundation Scholarship - Production assistance grant for ceramic artists, deadline: 14 April 2024;
- Schleich-Lentz Foundation Scholarship - Archaeological research and/or promotion scholarship for students, doctoral students and researchers, deadline: 21 April 2024;
- Schleich-Lentz Foundation Scholarship - Archaeological research and/or promotion grant for associations, deadline: 21 April 2024;
- scholarship to help write a critical analysis of an artistic work, deadline: 5 May 2024 and 6 October 2024;
- grant to help publish a literary work for children, deadline: 9 June 2024;
- Francis-André Scholarship - Production grant for artist or artist collective in the field of visual arts, deadline: 28 July 2024.
