On Tuesday 3 March 2020, Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) Luxembourg held its preparation workshop for Diversity Day, scheduled for 26 May 2020.

Bringing together more than 50 companies and organisations from Luxembourg, this event enabled participants to reflect together on the actions to be taken for the next National Diversity Day.

On this occasion, participants drew the first outlines of events aimed both at highlighting the diversity in their organisations and the policies implemented throughout the year in terms of diversity management. This was also an opportunity to exchange with IMS members, including its director Nancy Thomas and the two new faces of the Diversity Charter project: Gabriela Guerrero as Project Manager and Meriem Badis as Communications Officer.

To inspire participants, organisations were invited to share testimonials on the action implemented last year. Presenting on this occasion were the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Luxembourg (MUDAM), the House of Training and a  collective comprising HR Expert, Altran, Pfizer, the International School of Differdange and the City of Differdange.

Any organisation on the national territory can participate in Diversity Day. Interested persons only need to define a theme on which they wish to act, preferably directly or indirectly related to the core business of the organisation and submit it on the IMS website before 22 April 2020. The actions carried out by the organisations are all listed on the Diversity Charter website at www.chartediversite.lu.
