The British-Luxembourg Society (BLS) has announced that the Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Lecture 2024 will take place on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
This year is the 150th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill's birth and the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The guest speaker for the 2024 lecture is Allen Packwood, Director of the Churchill Archives Centre at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. He wrote How Churchill Waged War and recently co-authored a book with Lord Dannatt - Churchill's D-Day, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
