The University of Luxembourg has organised a public lecture entitled ‘New European Youth Mobilities in the light of Brexit’ for Tuesday 22 November 2016, starting at 09:00.
Next week, Dr. Russel King, Professor for Geography at the University of Sussex and a leading scholar in European migration research, will give a presentation on the topic of ‘New European Youth Mobilities in the light of Brexit’ at the University of Luxembourg.
The lecture has been organised by Professor Ute Karl, Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Luxembourg, who will first present an overview of a European research project on new European youth migrations across nine partner countries. Additionally, he will present a summary of the results of interviews given to young migrants in the London area.
Finally, the parts of these interviews which relate to Brexit will be discussed.
The lecture will take place at the university’s Belval Campus, in the Black Box in the Maison des Sciences Humaines, 11, porte des Sciences, 4366 Esch-sur-Alzette.
