The SQL Server Luxembourg User Group has announced Tom van Zele’s SQL 2016 presentation in Microsoft Luxembourg’s Intelligent Office.
Tom van Zele, founder of Page9, a company which provides managed services, cloud enablement and general consultancy for SQL Server, will highlight SQL Server 2016’s new features during the session. These include end-to-end mobile BI, advanced analytics, and cloud integration, among others.
ThingTank will join him at the event and demo their IoT solution which is an overview of the data platform components used in the initiative’s indoor air-quality monitoring system. The topic of data processing in Azure (IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Data Lake, Data Lake Analytics, Data Factory) will also be discussed, along with the way in which this data can be exposed to SQL Server 2016.
At the end of the evening, members will have the chance to meet each other and discuss the issues raised.
