On 7 October 2016, Schroders and Aberdeen collaborated and organised an Emerging Markets Investment Seminar together in Luxembourg.
Matthew Michael, Product Director EMD at Schroders started off with an Investment Outlook on Emerging Markets and EMD with focus on EMD Absolute Return.
After that, Osamu Yamagata, Investment Manager on the GEM team at Aberdeen elaborated on EME by means of an Outlook, the presentation of the opportunities and fundamentals for EM and the positioning of our EME Funds.
An interesting Q&A took place during which both speakers alternated the questions. The gathering was attended by circa 30 professional investors.
