The Luxembourg Internet Days, a two-day conference on FinTech, Cloud and Security, will take place in Luxembourg this year on 7 & 8 December, organised by LU-CIX, the LUxembourg Commercial Internet eXchange.

High-level keynotes, round tables and discussions will focus on the technical needs of IT companies keen to embrace the challenges and opportunities associated with the rise of FinTech, the growing importance of online data security and the promise of a better cloud. The conference will also provide networking sessions and speed-dating opportunities, as well as the opportunity for start-ups to pitch their business model.

A trade fair area with more than forty exhibitors will promote the exchange of ideas, practices and experiences among professionals to guarantee an informative and fruitful event at the cutting edge of ICT innovation.

The conference will start with a FinTech session on Monday 7 December organised in partnership with Luxembourg for Finance. Keynotes will be given by Francine CLOSENER, Secretary of State of the Economy, and Nicolas CARY, Co-Founder of Blockchain. International FinTech companies, such as Digicash, Bankable and KYC3, will also be participating.

The second day, Tuesday 8 December, will focus on Cloud and Security challenges with keynotes given by Xavier BETTEL, the Luxembourg Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Media; Alex GUBAREV, CEO of XBT Holding; Jérôme FLEURY from Cloudflare; Reinhard POSCH, CIO for the Federal Government of Austria; Rafael LAGUNA, CEO of Open-Xchange and Laurent ALLARD, CEO of OVH.

Participants can also expect high quality round tables with expert participants.
