On Thursday 22 October 2015, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the Environment Administration will be offering an information session to companies wishing to explore how to reduce their carbon footprint using existing concepts in the field of mobility.
The conference was organised in collaboration with the Chambre de Commerce and with the financial support of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure after energy audits conducted by LIST found that many small and medium entreprises (SMEs) are not aware of the impact of transport on their carbon footprint.
Simple solutions to this carbon footprint may be implemented in the area of mobility, often requiring little human and financial resources. The 'Reducing Your Carbon Footprint via Existing Concepts in the Field of Mobility' event will discuss these solutions, targeting in particular sustainable development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company advisors, those responsible for environment and quality, innovation managers and all those interested in environmental issues.
The conference is offered as part of the 'Betriber & ëmwelt' programme, wherein the Environment Administration (AEV) and LIST offer information sessions related to the environment to companies and public structures.
This event will be composed of presentations from the Ministry of Sustaiable Development, the Verkéiersverbond and a Luxembourg consultant specialising in the area, as well as practical applications offered by LIST and Luxembourg companies.
The conference will take place in French at the Chambre de Commerce. To register or find out more information, click here.
