Boost Lokal Lëtzebuerg has announced that it is organising its first "Co-Creation Evening" at Mamer Schlass (castle) on Thursday 6 June 2024, from 18:00 to 21:30.

The organisers explained that this event is the culmination of six months of gathering ideas from residents across western Luxembourg to address local challenges.

Boost Lokal Lëtzebuerg, led by CELL (Citizens for Ecological Learning & Living) asbl, aims to empower citizens to tackle local issues through collaborative projects with economic impact. Over 350 ideas were collected during a series of workshops, identifying 20 key challenges across themes such as mobility, integration, food production and circular economy. Citizens are now invited to come together to develop concrete solutions.

This Co-Creation Evening will bring people together to work in groups, leveraging collective intelligence and creativity. By the end of the evening, project groups will pitch their solutions and receive six months of support from Boost Lokal Lëtzebuerg and partners.

Boost Lokal Lëtzebuerg is the first international edition of the "Start-up de Territoire" programme from Strasbourg, France and aims to replicate its success in Luxembourg. This initiative has already created 238 projects and 410 jobs across France, noted the organisers. The Luxembourg edition is also set to expand to the eastern region in autumn 2024.
