The next edition of the Luxembourg Comedy Showcase in English, organised by Luxembourg Comedy, Joe Eagan Comedy Productions and, is set to take place on Thursday 18 April 2024 at 20:00 at the Marionnette cafe (15 Rue de Strasbourg) in Luxembourg-Gare.

The upcoming show is a double headliner special featuring Loren Mayshark (USA) and Alin Damian (Romania). Loren Mayshark is from New York State, and has been recently doing stand-up comedy shows in Europe. The organisers described his style as centring on observational, dark, and surrealist humour adding that he is “constantly offering surprising new twists in his act”. His credits include opening for acclaimed comedians across Europe and headlining at The Immigrant in Brno, Czech Republic. He headlined "The Last Laugh" at the famed Spire Theater as part of the Lucille Ball 2023 Fringe Festival in Jamestown, New York (Home of the National Comedy Center). Furthermore, he will be premiering his solo show "Son of a Luddite" at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Headliner Alin Damian has been garnering acclaim in Scandinavia and continental Europe with his “deadpan straight-faced delivery”. He described himself with words borrowed from someone else:  "He can seem socially clumsy in company but he's really funny, even off the scene - few filters and few things that hold him back, get ready for a comedy storm of twisted comedy that will make you giggle all the way home [...]”.

Furthermore, the MC host Joe Eagan (Canada), originally from Toronto, moved to Europe in 2000 and has specialised in entertaining crowds with people from all over the world. His comedy focuses on everyday life, stereotypes about various nationalities and more.

The show is scheduled to run from 20:00 to 22:00. To have pizza before the show, reserve a table via tel.: 481-217. It is recommended to book a table by 19:15 at the latest to get food orders in before the show.
