A special edition of the anglophone Luxembourg Comedy Showcase is scheduled for this Saturday 21 April 2018 at 21:00 at the Brasserie Restaurant Marionnette in Luxembourg City.
To celebrate the showcase’s 4th anniversary, there will be three pro comedy acts instead of the usual two. This time, Mike Guido (US), Kristel Zweers (Netherlands) and Andy Valvur (US/Estonia) will take the stage, accompanied by host MC Joe Eagan (Canada).
Mike Guido has made eight US national television appearances and has worked with some of the biggest stars, like Robin Williams, Jay Leno, and Ellen Degeneres. He can be heard regularly on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Pandora, and iTunes. His one-person stage show, “A Real Man – Dad. Daughter. Autism.” has been called, “Moving, incredibly uplifting, and truly an inspiration” by FOX TV.
Kristel Zweers kick-started her comedy-career by winning the silver prize in the Dutch Lucky Strike Comedy Talent Tour in 2001. She has also toured with 3 of her own 90-minute solo shows and has also participated in “De Lama’s,” the Dutch version of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyways.” In 2009, her first solo “Onschuldig” (Innocent) featured on Dutch TV. She has performed in places like Curaçao, Bonaire, Singapore, KL, Brunei, Dubai, Portland USA, Jakarta, Beijing and Guangzhou.
With credits to his name like Comedy Store LA, NY Times contributor, The Improv, Andy Valvur is a political comic second to none with material about pretty much every nation in Europe and the rest of the world - a legend on the comedy scene for over 30 years, he even has an Estonian passport to his name as well.
The whole show will be in English.
The show will begin at 21:00, although eating guests are welcome from 19:00 and non-eating guests from 20:00. Guests who wish to eat can reserve a table via tel.: +352 48 12 17.
Tickets cost €37 for two people (booked in advance) or €20 per person. Ticket prices on the night is €25 per person. In addition, Earlybird group tickets are available (min. four people) for €18 each (before 16:00 on 20 April 2018).
