As students head back to school, the Ligue d'Improvisation luxembourgeoise will make a comeback of its own as it opens an international improvisation show for the new 2015/16 season on Saturday 19 September 2015.
The Match Impro programme will involve two teams of five players on a makeshift ice rink, offering the audience short stories creating a character-rich show inspired of the moment.
"For this season, the actors confirmed are from the LISM de Seine et Marne who accepted our invitation and who will be set against our team, the Improtauzaures", explained Alain Holtgen, Director of the Ligue D'Improvisation luxembourgeoise.
The Improtauzares are made up of Louise Raskin, Antoine Leclerq, Gregory Melmer, Pierre van Wambeke and Pascal Durante, the latter of whom described the intrigue of improv by commenting: "I like developing relationships between the characters, getting involved in the psychology of the character I'm playing".
The two different teams will be the subject of one single challenge - to create stories on the go, based on ideas suggested by an arbitrator. Spectators will also receive the opportunity to participate in these makeshift scenes by offering their own themes as inspiration.
