Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Luxembourg has announced that it is running its ninth annual Irish Culture Summer School from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August 2024.

The summer school will run each day from 08:30 to 12:30 at the International School Michel Lucius (Primary) in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg (1 Avenue Joseph Sax, L-2515).

Classes for children (primary school and up) and adolescents will focus on step dancing, singing (traditional songs), tin whistle and drama (covering Irish mythology and legends). Classes will be held in English.

Alongside the summer school for children, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Luxembourg will be running evening workshops for adults in step dancing, singing (traditional songs) and traditional Irish music (mixed instrument). These workshops will take place at the same venue as the children's classes, from 29 July to 2 August, every day from 20:00 to 21:30.
