The British Ladies Club (BLC) held their annual Christmas luncheon at the Hotel Parc Alvisse on Wednesday 7 December 2022; no less than 66 ladies attended, together with His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Fleur Thomas.
The festive, three-course meal was enjoyed by all, and the accompanying raffle with many prizes - donated by local organisations and individuals - raised money for charity.
”As this was my first and only time hosting the event, I was so happy to overhear several of the ladies talking about their fabulous meal. The staff of the Hotel Parc Alvisse were, once again, successful in providing a wonderful experience. It was also my honour to welcome Ambassador Thomas to the luncheon” said Dawn Butler, Acting Chair.
Guests enjoyed shopping at various Christmas market stands and carol singing by the Carpe Diem choir, conducted by Philip Dutton. A fabulous time was had by all.
The BLC Children’s Christmas party took place on Saturday 3 December 2022: tickets sold out within days of their release.
