Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) is organising, in collaboration with the City of Esch-sur-Alzette (Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette), a celebratory India Day event in Place de l'Hôtel de Ville on Saturday 17 September 2022, from 11:00 to 18:00.
India Day is a celebration of India's culture and traditions. As such, various stalls will offer regional food and drinks, Indian games and music by Radio ARA. There will also be a photo booth and live percussion and a DJ. Over 50 participants will perform live dances and singing to entertain visitors and bring a touch of Indian culture to Luxembourg's second largest city.
Special guests Santosh Jha, the Ambassador of India to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union (EU), and George Misch, Mayor of Esch-sur-Alzette, will be present in the afternoon.
This public event is open to all.
