Pitchcraft for Entrepreneurs (PC4E) Toastmasters club has announced that it is hosting its first pitchathon on Tuesday 17 November 2020 from 18:30.

On this occasion, ten aspiring or actual entrepreneurs will have the possibility to give a 2-3 minute pitch of their business and to have their pitch verbally evaluated by a panel of presentation and entrepreneurial experts. There will be no investors present, so no pressure on the entrepreneurs apart from to do themselves and their ideas justice.

The feedback will be focussed, positive and immediate, with the aim of helping the participants to polish their pitches so that when they get in front of the bank, the angel investor or a potential business partner their presentations will have the necessary impact to make the desired impression.

Each participant will receive a video of their pitch and the feedback that they receive.

Although PC4E is a members’ organisation, this is an open event where anyone who is interested can apply for one of the speaking slots. There is no obligation to be or become a member of the club.

Owing to COVID-19 restrictions, the pitchathon will take place exclusively online (via Zoom), which gives pitchers an opportunity to enhance their abilities to convince people remotely.

To register for this event, see pc4etoastmastersclub.blogspot.com. There is no closing date for registrations, but they will be treated on a first come, first served basis. The number of places is limited to ten, so although there is no attendance fee, a €20 deposit will be required upon registration in order to secure a place. This will be refunded immediately after the pitches on 17 November.

PC4E is a non-profit organisation whose mission as a member of Toastmasters International is to help people, particularly entrepreneurs, to improve their communication, leadership and listening skills.
