This Saturday 17 September, the Indian community in Luxembourg is organising an India Day on Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre between 09:00 and 18:00; the IAL has now announced the cultural programme of the day.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL), with the support of the Ville de Luxembourg, will use the occasion to showcase the country's creativity, culture and unity. There will be various stalls with traditional costumes, handicrafts, photo exhibition, spices and snacks, henna, music, radio, “Make in India” and “Digital India” initiatives, as well as stands promoting Indian Tourism, Cinema, Performances, Games and more.

The bandstand on Place d’Armes will showcase live classical dance performances from the different regions of India.
